What I am Thankful for......

There is just so much to be thankful for.... I mean we live in America for Goodness sake... not that America is the best... But we have ALOT that MOST other countries do not have... and though most of us complain about what WE do not have.... we have SOOOOOO much to be THANKFUL for!!!!  I know that most of you reading this blog right now have a computer!!! And if you walk down your hall you have a flushing toilet and if you walk to your kitchen you have clean running water!!!! There is sooo much that we take for granted that we should be and need to be thankful for. It seems as though all of our modern amenities and conveniences have caused us to forget how difficult life would really be without them...yet sooo many people around the world do in fact live without them... and we complain about not having the newest Ipod..Ipad..X-box..Mac Book Pro..Coach bag...Christian Louboutin Shoes...Jordan's...you name it...the things we think we "need" that we merely "want' and really don't need....and will most like cause more debt in our lives and still leave us wanting more.... Oh People.... We need to have proper perspective.
So what I am Thankful for this year... and every year... my healthy kids... because I have friends that are taking care of children that are confined to wheelchairs and require 24 hour care for the rest of their lives...and I CANNOT imagine what that must be like, and I admire their strength and faith! I am thankful for my FAMILY... who stick by me and support me and never judge me. I am thankful for my church family.... I LOOOOOVE My Church...My Pastors.... and Most importantly MY JESUS!!! My faith gets me through these difficult times... the long hard days... and HE constantly encourages me and sustains me... and I know I can make it through... KNOWING HE IS WITH ME!!!!  I am thankful for many things this year.... and not one of them is a "thing"

Happy Thanksgiving Friends and Family! Enjoy yours!!!! God Bless!
